Who we are
This online shop is run by People on Bicycles Pty Ltd, ABN 66 650 614 369, Western Australia. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean People on Bicycles Pty Ltd.
Orders and prices
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Payment is taken in full at checkout. An order is accepted when we confirm it. If a price or product detail is wrong, we'll tell you and you can choose to go ahead at the right price or cancel for a full refund.
Items we order in
Where an item isn't in our warehouse, the lead time on the product page is our estimate. If anything holds it up, we'll tell you within one business day and sort it out together. If we can't deliver, you can wait or take a full refund.
Delivery, returns and bookings
These are set out in our shipping policy, our refund policy and on the page Delivery, returns and cancellations. Nothing in our terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Bike services
You pay for your service when you book, before we pick up your bike. Our prices are for a standard 7-speed to 10-speed bike. If your bike has 11 or 12 speeds, or is an e-bike, a surcharge applies and our mechanic confirms it when they assess the bike. By booking you agree we may amend the price to match the bike we receive. If you don't agree to the amended price, we return the bike untouched and refund the service in full, less any pick-up and return cost for that trip. Parts and repairs beyond the service you booked are quoted in writing before we start. Your bike is back with you within 7 working days of pick-up, or we tell you why and when.
Free installation promotion
Buy more than one Steadyrack rack and installation is free. Each rack counts as one, whatever else is in your order. A bundle counts as one rack. The offer ends at 11:59 pm Perth time on 24 December 2026. Otherwise installation is $65 for one standard visit of about 30 minutes. A job that needs more than one visit is quoted, and we don't start until you've signed it off. Installation is available in the Perth metro area.
10% off your next order
Buy anything, or book a class, and we'll email you a code for 10% off your next order. The code is for you and can't be shared or transferred. It can be used once, within six months of the order date, and is sent once your order is paid. Buying a gift card earns the code. The code can't be used to buy a gift card. It can't be combined with another code.
Service membership
When you buy a Standard or Fixed Price service from us, you become a service member for 15 months from the date of that paid service. While you're a member, your next Standard or Fixed Price service is at the member price shown on our service page. The member price is applied with a member code, which we send with your service reminder. It isn't applied automatically at checkout. The member price can't be combined with any other code, and it doesn't apply to Capped Price services. The Yearly Service Plan is a separate subscription and is covered by its own sign-up terms.
Liability
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those guarantees, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, to the extent the law allows.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia.
